HackHexa will take place in person from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

PLEASE ARRIVE BEFORE 7:30AM.

All projects must be developed during the event timeframe and submitted on Devpost before the submission deadline announced during the event.

Late submissions may not be considered for recognition.

Eligibility

HackHexa is designed for high school female students interested in exploring technology and engineering.

Participants may work individually or in teams.

No prior programming experience is required. The event is beginner-friendly and focuses on creativity, logical thinking, and learning.

Participants must follow the event's Code of Conduct and respect other participants, mentors, and organizers. Reglamento CETYS

Project and Submission Requirements

All solutions must be created during the HackHexa event timeframe.

Participants may work individually or in teams to create a digital solution that demonstrates logical thinking, creativity, or a technological concept. Solutions may take different forms, including simple programs, animations, interactive logic demonstrations, or visual explanations.

Solutions should focus on problem-solving, computational thinking, or creative use of technology.

To be eligible for recognition, participants must submit their project on Devpost and provide a GitHub repository containing their project files and documentation.

All submitted work must be original and created by the participating team during the event.

 

Participants are encouraged to clearly explain their idea, the logic behind their solution, and how their project works.

Prizes

HackHexa focuses on recognition and encouragement rather than competition.

Participants may receive recognition in categories such as:

  • Creative Logic Award

  • Most Creative Presentation

  • Best Use of Git

  • Best Problem Solver

  • Future Engineer Award

  • Elegant Solution Award

  • Rompiendo Esquemas

 

Awards are intended to celebrate participants' efforts and encourage them to continue exploring technology and engineering.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Projects will be evaluated by invited judges based on the following criteria:

  • Creativity and originality of the idea

  • Logical thinking and problem-solving approach

  • Clarity of the concept and explanation

  • Effort and teamwork

Judges will review all valid submissions and select projects for recognition based on these criteria.

 

The judges' decisions are final.

Solutions will be evaluated based on creativity, clarity of the idea, logical thinking, and effort, not on advanced programming skills.
